Return & Exchange Policy
- The original sales receipt must accompany all returns or exchanges. Textbooks must be in resalable condition. Textbooks may be returned or exchanged by date marked on the original receipt except for any textbooks purchased for 2 week classes will only be refunded for 3 days from the class start date.
- New books must be in absolutely new condition. A book is not considered to be in new condition if it shows any: ink marks, pencil marks, eraser marks, writing, highlighting, stains, water damage, dented corners, creased covers, creased or torn pages, cracked or creased binding, open codes, open CD packages, or any opened media. Any shrink-wrapped textbook bundles are NOT returnable if the shrink-wrap has been opened or if the barcode is missing. Taping shrink-wrapping does not constitute a new book, and therefore will not be refunded.
- Used books purchased bundled with CD or study guides must be returned with all pieces it was purchased with. Custom books sold in binders are not returnable once the shrink-wrap has been broken.
- Refunds will be given in same tender form. Please have the same credit card with you.
- Defective merchandise will be exchanged if purchased new, determined by approval from the manufacturer/publisher. College Textbooks, Inc. may offer 50% of the purchased price for any textbook not meeting requirements for a full refund. Some conditions may apply.
- College Textbooks, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any refund where there has been abuse of this policy
